The Butterfly Did Not Emerge Because It Learned to Work Harder
The butterfly did not emerge because it learned to work harder.
It emerged because it allowed the transformation to happen.
There are seasons when growth asks us to move, build, and take intentional action.
But there are also seasons when growth asks us to become still.
To stop forcing.
To stop measuring our worth by how much we accomplish.
To stop believing that every transformation must be earned through exhaustion.
The butterfly does not fight to remain who it once was. It allows the old form to dissolve so something new can emerge.
Perhaps this season is not asking you to work harder.
Perhaps it is asking you to release.
To rest.
To trust what is changing within you—even when you cannot yet see what it is becoming.
You are not behind because your transformation is taking time.
You are not failing because you need stillness.
You are becoming.
And becoming cannot always be rushed.
Reflection prompt
What might begin to change if you stopped forcing the process and allowed yourself to become?
Truth to carry with you
I do not have to exhaust myself to prove that I am growing.
